What Was Not Working

Their former website was no longer active when we first started our collaboration with Space Between Design Studio. Despite not being able to substantiate it ourselves, the client lamented that their old website was cutting edge in 2011 and therefore became clunky and dated when it was active. They wanted a valid substitute that could exemplify the business creativity and stand out among other urban planning and design consulting firms in the area.

The New Look

The new design employs the brand colors already in use for calls-to-action and ornamental details, but the usage of the white space in the layout plays a pivotal role. In fact, the pictures and project plans are what truly needs to be highlighted. We resolved the potential scrolling liability of the heavy amount of images that needed to be displayed by grouping them in trendy slideshow and horizontal-scroll galleries. This light and simple aesthetic approach is modish, sleek, and, most importantly, user-oriented.
