Project Scope and Status
The project followed a phased approach, moving from the design proof stage into active development. Comprehensive visual proofs for the entire website were completed and uploaded to the Hive project management platform for collaborative internal review. Following the client’s approval, the development phase was executed. The project was now in its final client review stage, with a fully functional site awaiting final feedback before launch.
A critical component throughout this process was a detailed brand Guidelines document, which served as the definitive source for all decisions related to logo application, typography, and color usage.
Strategic Design Decisions and Client Requirements
The redesign was driven by specific client requirements focused on usability, brand evolution, and content clarity.
A key enhancement to the user experience was the implementation of a dynamic content slider on the homepage. This feature gives the client a flexible tool to prominently showcase time-sensitive information, such as upcoming events, new service offerings, or recent blog posts, directly on the main landing page.
From a visual design perspective, the project involved a careful evolution of the brand’s aesthetic. The core brand green was retained as the primary color, while a modern purplish-blue accent was introduced to refresh the palette and align with contemporary design trends. Additionally, a comprehensive typography review was conducted, with specific edits made to non-bolded fonts site-wide to significantly improve text readability as requested by the client.

Given Cyber Watch’s specialization in cybersecurity, discussions around the technical infrastructure were particularly significant.
The client’s initial preference for dedicated hosting, driven by security concerns, was addressed by transitioning to a managed hosting solution. After evaluation, a managed WordPress hosting platform was approved. This solution provided an enterprise-grade security suite that met the client’s stringent requirements while offering a more streamlined and cost-effective alternative to fully dedicated servers.
