Working With the Brand

High Wide & Heavy Whitetails came to us with a solidified brand and a clear vision of what they liked. They loved the earthly color palette they previously selected and wanted to maintain a simple and concise layout for what was going to become their new website. They were open to see the approach our team would take, for their former site needed a drastic upgrade. Another aspect they wanted our team to focus on was developing a strategy that would focus on highlighting the pictures of their deers and allow the users to easily find and access their pedigrees. JSL was also asked to come up against a very tight deadline to bring at least part of the website live, but we managed to deliver the full product within the timeline given. Appreciating our initial work, the client also requested for us to style a room card for the overnight guests of their farm.

Our Creative Approach

The new High Wide & Heavy Whitetails’ website redefines the aesthetic approach previously adopted by the brand, creating a modern, sleek, and polished look. As per client request, the layout is built so that the images stay under the spotlight at all times by also creating collages and graphics for the headers. The CTAs are carefully placed and allow the user to seamlessly explore the website without missing any of the content. After debating what would be the best method to display the pedigrees based on the target audience, the client and the JSL team found the perfect common ground by including the tree diagrams in the form of images as well as downloadable links. The final product is user-oriented, easy to navigate, and something that High Wide & Heavy Whitetails proudly shows off.
