FED Development’s Problem
There were many elements of their former website that the client was not happy with. For starters, they had been running into some web functionality hiccups which included the website’s incompatibility with Hubspot, the malfunctioning chatbox feature, and the confusing layout of the available positions in their career’s page. An additional deficiency of the website was that it did not convert properly on mobile.
Last but not least, the design was not properly showcasing the highly valued buildings in the FED’s portfolio, and did not effectively demonstrate the industry recognition they acquired through years of outstanding work. In their eyes, the website was lacking in creativity and was not aesthetically attractive.
The JSL Solution
While the client was not tied down to any particular color palette, they expressed their fondness for their recently established branding palette. Our team thought that sticking to this option would be ideal to achieve the look the client was looking for. Our designer staggered white, charcoal, and yellow sections to create a colorful, captivating, and energetic layout. The way bold and thin fonts are combined not only serves the purpose of emphasizing the most relevant content, it creates a visual balance that catches the viewers attention. The once convoluted careers’ page, now includes a tidy succession of dropdowns which are nested under filtering tabs.
In addition to resolving all the user experience’s limitations of their old website, our development team brought the design concept to life with precision and worked on preserving its visual appeal on all other devices.
